My IT Account

Explore the frequently asked questions below to learn more about the services available to you. If you're unable to find the information you need, contact us and we'll ensure your query is directed to the relevant service.

Falmouth University students will have received an email from the Admissions team to their personal email address with their username and password before starting university.

If you did not receive an email or are unsure of your login details, please contact the IT Service Desk by email to servicedesk@fxplus.ac.uk or call 01326 213822.

University of Exeter students should also receive details of their username and password before starting university. Please contact info.penryn@exeter.ac.uk or call 01326 371800 if you are unsure of your details. 

All students will need to complete an IT registration in order to gain access your University email account and to agree to the computer users agreement.

Falmouth students can click on the following link to complete IT registration: https://myaccount.falmouth.ac.uk/Registration/. This will be done at the time of enrolment. (Details of enrolment will be sent to you by admissions prior to starting your course). If you are unsure whether you have completed the IT Registration please contact the IT Service Desk.

Exeter students ...

If you have any problems using your log in details or you are unsure what they are, please contact the IT Service Desk on 01326 213822 or email servicedesk@fxplus.ac.uk.

If you forget your password you can reset it using an online password changer.

For Falmouth students please visit: https://myaccount.falmouth.ac.uk/ResetPassword/.

For Exeter students please visit: https://as.exeter.ac.uk/it/account/changepassword/.

You will need your student number and date of birth in order to use this online password changer. Alternatively, you can contact the Service Desk to get your password reset. You will need to provide your date of birth or home postcode for security when contacting the Service Desk to get your password changed.

You can also visit the IT Support team in person within the Library in The Exchange building at Penryn Campus. 

Penryn Campus

Term-time opening hours:

The main IT Suite is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, IT support is limited to the following hours:

  • Monday to Friday 8.45am – 9.00pm
  • Saturday and Sunday 10am – 6pm

Holiday Opening Hours:

Throughout holiday periods our main IT Suite is open during the following hours:

  • Monday to Friday 9am – 8pm
  • Saturday and Sunday: 10pm – 5pm

IT support is available between 8.45am – 9.00pm Monday to Friday, and 10am – 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Falmouth Campus

Term Time opening Hours:

The IT Suites are open Monday – Friday 9.00am - 8.00pm • Saturday's 10.00am – 5.00pm • Sunday's 1.00pm – 5.00pm Telephone support only between 5.15pm – 9.00pm Monday to Friday and at weekends.

Holiday Opening Hours: The IT Suite is open Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (telephone support only).
