The university offer a range of Modern Foreign Languages for students, staff and alumni of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter (Cornwall campuses). Partners and immediate family over 18 years may also attend.

Enrolment happens twice in the Academic year, September and January. Please visit the Languages website for further information on courses offered, enrolment, times and locations of courses. languages.fxplus.ac.uk/eveningcourses.

You can sign up for one English for Academic purposes (EAP) course (usually specific to your subject) and any of the other general skills classes – depending on your timetable and other commitments.

No, our services are absolutely free!

A maximum of twenty students, but usually fewer, so time for individual feedback and help with specific essay titles/projects.

The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses are usually subject specific, so we will look at how to answer the essay titles/projects given to you by your tutors. We will also practise more general skills like how to structure your writing, create a logical argument and reference sources.
