We don't operate any room moves within the first two weeks of arrival.

Once you have settled in, if you still wish to move you will need to contact the Accommodation Office by clicking on the 'log enquiry' option above, and we can review the request to move rooms.

Yes, this is a possibility however we would prioritse those students in shared accommodation first before moving a student from one single room to another single room in another residence.  Please contact the accommodation office for furher information on this.

We operate a £40 room move charge for students moving rooms who aren't moving from shared to single occupancy.

Depending on availability this may be an option however this will be after arrival; please speak with a member of the accommodation team as it would mean a change in contract and accommodation charges.

You will have legally signed into a 42 week contract so if you wish to leave your accommodation, you will need to find a replacement tenant who is a full time student with either University and does not currently live with us in one of our accommodation options. If you do find a replacement tenant, please contact the accommodation office.

Each year we operate a limited number of contract extensions over the summer. Please make an enquiry nearer to the end of the contract if you are interested.

No, unfortunately we don't change the contract length to each course and so aim to find a contract length that offers flexibility for the majority of students. If you wish to leave early, you are welcome to do so but you will remain liable for your rent payments until the end of the contract.

If you are intermitting or withdrawing from your course, you are required to leave the accommodation contract as you are no longer a student. We usually allow no longer than two weeks following the course departure date.

If you are leaving your course, you will need to speak to the Accommodation Office to fill in a Request to Vacate form and to discuss the leaving procedure. Without taking the neccesary steps you may not be released from your contract and may still remain liable for your rent.

Please make an enquiry or come by and see us as soon as possible. The Accommodation Office is located in Glasney Lodge at Penryn Campus.
